FAQ - Grading Policy

Note: All pins are made by hand and not mass produced by machines. As such, each pin will have minor to significant errors when being inspected. Below is how The Antiquarian Quality Checks their pins and Grades them.

STANDARD GRADE (A-GRADE): Free of major defects but may exhibit minor imperfections such as; air bubbles, stray paint/glitter specs, metal plating defects (excluding backs), slight enamel overspill, tiny pin pricks and low-filled or gouged enamel.

B-GRADE: Multiple minor defects of the types mentioned above.

C-GRADE: Multiple major defects of the types mentioned above, or: peeling enamel, missing enamel, or other unexpected problems.

Any order placed as a Presale/Preorder will be guaranteed a Standard Grade. Thereafter, any pins left varying from Grades A, B, & C can be sold as Extras.

Any pin with major defects that The Antiquarian feels takes away from the quality of the pin will not be sold!
